Yosh Beier has worked on global and domestic assignments in Europe, the U.S., Asia, and the Middle East. In his role as executive coach and global organizational development consultant Yosh has consulted many Fortune 500 companies such as Johnson & Johnson, Boehringer Ingelheim, Allianz, BASF, Deutsche Bank, NYSE/Euronext, and government/non-government organizations such as the United Nations, UNICEF, the European Commission, NASA, and the US Forest Service. His work reaches across organizational hierarchies from plant to executive floor.
Yosh is an inter-disciplinary, systems-oriented analyst and problem-solver holding a masters degree in theoretical physics from the Technical University Berlin, a professional degree in strategic decision and risk management from Stanford University, and licenses as psychotherapist and mediator. He was trained in conflict resolution at The International Center for Collaboration and Conflict Resolution, Columbia University. He is fully bi-lingual in English and German, and speaks fluent Spanish.
Yosh has been researching future social and technological trends for The FutureWork Institute and helped organizations translate these into workforce and workplace strategies. He has been a research fellow on organizational learning for the Fraunhofer Research Society in Germany.
Yosh coaches individuals and executives on issues of global and inclusive leadership, effective communication skills and conflict resolution. He has helped global and cross-cultural teams to work effectively across cultural difference – and is particularly versed with German – American differences in team & organizational cultures.
Yosh facilitates strategic decision-making processes and risk-assessments with leaders and teams. In addition, he supports emotional intelligence in individuals and teams to more effectively leverage diversity of thought & style.
